Refereeing for the College Mathematics Journal
Problems and Solutions
Consistently the most downloaded section of The CMJ, we invite readers and math enthusiasts to submit original problems that will appeal to the readers of The CMJ. Problem proposals must be accompanied by solutions. Submitted problems should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Classroom Capsules
A Classroom Capsule is a short article, typically 1-3 pages in length, that contains new insight on a topic taught in undergraduate mathematics. It is preferably something that can be directly introduced into a college classroom as an effective teaching strategy or tool.
Media Highlights
Media Highlights are short reviews (up to half a page) intended to help readers monitor a broad spectrum of publications, web materials, professional activities, and instructional resources. Readers are encouraged to submit items that will be of interest to colleagues in the mathematical community.
History and Past Editors
The College Mathematics Journal began as The Two-Year College Mathematics Journal. It was founded and published by Prindle, Weber & Schmidt, Inc. in collaboration with the MAA, and MAA president Gail Young.
